MARLIN MODEL 1895 45-70 GOVT. LEVER ACTION RIFLE – 18.5″

The Marlin Model 1895 is an American lever-action repeating rifle that was introduced in 1895. It was made to chamber the 45-70 Gov’t cartridge, and has been offered in numerous other big game chamberings including: 25-35 WCF; 30-30 Winchester; 32 Special; 38-55 Winchester; 303 British; 35 Remington; 375 Winchester (known as ‘The Big Fifty’); 410 bore shot gun shells (with a rifled slug barrel); 444 Marlin & 45 Colt/.410 shotshells.

The Model 1895 is still being produced by Marlin Firearms Co., which now belongs to Remington Outdoor Company LLC – though it’s marketed under its own name rather than being branded as part of their line up like some other models such as their Golden 39A lever action rifles or semi auto rimfire pistols & shotguns manufactured for sale through Walmart stores around North America today!

Caliber: 45-70 Govt.

Caliber: 45-70 Govt.

The .45-70 Govt. is the standard US military cartridge, and it’s been around for over 100 years. It was developed in 1873 by Winchester Repeating Arms Company, who wanted to make a new black powder rifle for the Army that could fire larger bullets faster than its predecessor (the Springfield Model 1863).

The company developed a gun with an 18″ barrel that could fire up to 15 shots per minute, as well as some ammunition options with different bullet weights ranging from 500 grains up through 800 grains!

This cartridge has been used in everything from deer hunting rifles all the way up through elephant guns–and even today there are still some companies making new rifles chambered specifically for this round because of how versatile it is at such high velocities compared most modern cartridges like 7mm Remington Magnum which shoots at only 2/3rds speed but costs much more money per round!

Barrel Length: 18.5″

The 18.5″ barrel is the standard length for this gun. It’s not too short, but it’s also not too long. The barrel is the right length for this gun and does not interfere with your ability to shoot accurately or effectively.

Finish/Color: Blue

The finish of this Marlin 1895 45-70 Govt. Lever Action Rifle is blue.

Blue is a very common color for firearms and has been around for hundreds of years. It’s also the most popular color for rifles today, but it wasn’t always that way–in fact, most rifles used to be brown or black until the late 1800s when they started getting nickel plated as well!
